DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome and seats guests promptly in the restaurant.
  • Promote all menu items and special promotions.
  • Ensure guests are thanked on leaving the restaurant after dining.
  • Allocate tables according to group sizes in order to achieve highest possible occupancy of seats and comes back at the restaurant entrance as fast as possible to welcome other guests.
  • Ensure that all menu items are sold at the correct selling price ensuring that the planned profitability is secured.
  • Take guests orders for first drinks, provides menus and passes orders to Outlet Supervisor or waiter.
  • Ensure that effective communication is carried out with all employees, while keeping an effective communication with your superior.
  • Ensure that all vital communication is recorded in written form.
  • Report any guest complaints to the supervisor on duty.
  • Ensure that the monthly one to one meeting with the Restaurant Manager is kept and that all documentation is up to date.
  • Ensure the quality and cleanliness of food signage, a la carte menus, beverage lists and tent cards are maintained in good condition at all times.
  • Take guests reservations as per the Resort\'s standards.
  • Keep records of all reservations, number of covers per day and regular guests’ preferences, e.g. certain seating areas etc.
  • Ensure that tables have clean beverage lists, table numbers, healthy options and other table materials as required by the hotel standard.
  • Maintain an attentive posture and abstains from unnecessary discussions with other members of colleagues.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by your superior from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least have high school diploma.
  • 01 years of experience in Customer Service experience.
  • Sound Knowledge of Food & Beverage Service.
  • A warm personality, attentive and smartly presentable.
  • Ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs.
  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have a good command of the English language(Preferred Multi Language Speaker).
  • Minimum Height 5ft, 4inches
  • No tattoos that would be visible whilst wearing the uniform (bandages and cosmetic coverings are not permitted).
  • No body piercings that would be visible whilst wearing the uniform, other than one earring in the lower lobe of each ear for females only (bandages and cosmetic coverings are not permitted).
  • Excellent personal presentation, style and image.
