Person

The Bar Manager  is part of the F&B team. He/she is responsible for the beverage education of all F&B service colleagues, sourcing new products and keeping up to date with offer as well as guest taste and requirements, controlling and maintaining stock levels in the main cellar and in the outlets, maximizing sales, identifying opportunities, creating a beverage culture in the hotel in order to enhance revenues.

Also to provide the outlets with leadership and supervision whilst maintaining a visible presence on the floor during key service periods. Ensure maximum guest satisfaction by consistently following Jumeirah signature standards, Hallmarks and Guiding Principles.

Thorough planning, organizing, directing and controlling the Food & Beverage operation and administration. You need to possess creative ideas and solutions and be a great coach of your team.

Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar luxury, high end work environment as Beverage Manager
  • Management role in a cultural diverse workforce.
  • Menu engineering.
  • Strong Leadership and Coaching skills 

    Desirable:

  • Exposure to international wine exhibitions and previous active participation in beverage competitions.
  • Purchasing experience.
  • Island Experience
